HOLLYWOOD – Actor Jonathan Majors has found himself in hot water after being arrested on Saturday in New York on domestic violence allegations. The incident reportedly occurred after a dispute with his girlfriend, who claimed to have been assaulted and taken to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck.”

The NYPD released a statement saying that officers received a 911 call around 11:14 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they found that a 33-year-old male, identified as Majors, was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female. The victim informed the police that she was assaulted, and officers placed Majors into custody without incident.

Majors’ Lawyer Denies It

The police statement listed several potential charges against the actor, including “strangulation,” “assault,” and “harassment.” However, a representative for Majors denied the allegations and said to Variety, “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”

According to US law enforcement sources, Majors’ girlfriend claims that they argued while in a taxi returning home from a bar in Brooklyn. She allegedly saw another woman texting Majors and confronted him, trying to sneak a peek at his phone. The alleged victim claimed that this angered Majors, who then allegedly grabbed her hand and slapped her, and put his hands around her neck during the altercation.
